8 what?

That's right .. 8 miles .. now to some of you this may be nothing ..and to others .. it may be .. 8 whole miles .. running .. . i did it .. i was hurting towards the end ..but i think i did something to my hip flexors???? i did something to my hip and its sore as all hell ... . dont ask me what i did ..i dont know .. . . and i basically just going to hope that i can rest/walk it out . . ..

because ..... .(drumroll please) ..this next weekend is 10 miles .. wow ... craxy ... .

Lent & giving up glitter

I had a friend tell me once that her guy friend gave up "glitter" for lent. .. .oh gosh i wish glitter were the vain of my existence .. but alas it is not ..therefore ..i give up .. fast food .. here we go .. 40 days .. (and a birthday included in that) ..

i was just thinking if i were catholic and had to do this lent "thing" every year i would never succeed .. i mean my birthday is right in the middle ..whatever i would give up .. well i wouldn't give it up for my birthday . .. thats what birthdays are about .. the "not giving up ..but giving into" . . . .. im just saying.

V-day in Boise

Tondra and I had a "romantic" get-a-way weekend in boise, idaho . . i really do heart boise. ... we had a great time with the jensen/gihring families . . .and it was great to see tim's wedding .. . .

p.s. yes that is me in a tiara .. i believe the only time i have ever worn one. first time for everything. :)
